The Student Support Specialist II - CCAMPIS Program Coordinator at Somerset Community College is responsible for managing the CCAMPIS (Child Care Access Means Parent in School) grant activities. Update the CCAMPIS application and participant agreements.
Select and verify participants and ensure proper agreements and paperwork are completed.
Provide non-academic barrier support/resources.
Monitor participants' academic progress.
Identify and recruit SCC parenting students.
Plan parenting student workshops and events.
Complete childcare contracts with partnering childcare centers.
Facilitate partnering childcare centers' improvement of KY ALL-STARS rankings.
Connect with the Early Childhood Education communities within the SCC service area.
Identify and recruit childcare providers for partnership.
Work with other departments and programs to effectively aid parenting students.
Collaborate with SCC's Marketing team to develop recruitment and event materials.
Publicize the CCAMPIS program within the SCC student body.
Work with the business office to ensure timely payment of childcare center services.
Facilitate the CCAMPIS budget.
Maintain proper paperwork for Annual Reporting to the Department of Education grants specialist.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in early childhood, counseling, social work, or a related field working with parents and children.
Minimum of 3 years' experience providing exemplary care to young children in a certified center or school.
2 years of supervisory or project management experience.
