About The Position
Phoenix-Talent School District #4 is seeking applications for the position of SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING/BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST at Talent Elementary School. This 1.0 FTE position begins August 21, 2025. The position is designed to help manage and facilitate multi-tiered systems of support in the area of social-emotional learning (SEL) and behavior. The specialist will oversee behavior plan design and implementation for students who need extra support and skill development, assist in the implementation of school-wide SEL, collaborate with other behavior specialists in the district, provide support through professional development, and administer Functional Behavior Assessments at the elementary level in the district. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students, ensuring they have the opportunity to succeed while recognizing and addressing barriers to academic achievement.
