  • 1-2 years of professional work experience post-graduation.
  • Skills in crisis support areas such as suicide prevention and sexual assault survivor support.
  • Working knowledge of college and mental health issues, including dual diagnoses.
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with students to assess concerns and well-being, developing action plans to empower them.
  • Coordinate and track referrals to internal units such as Counseling and Psychological Services and Student Housing.
  • Assist in student academic planning and decision-making related to course loads and withdrawals.
  • Maintain follow-up systems for students referred to campus or community resources.
  • Maintain accurate case management records in Maxient.
  • Assist with absence notifications to Faculty for students needing to be away from campus.
