Students work with the Biology Stockroom Manager and Technician to support department research and curricular labs.
Requirements
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Dependable and punctual
- Autoclave trained
- Able to follow step by step instruction accurately
- Experience operating Biology Lab Equipment
- Self starter
Responsibilities
- Clean lab areas
- Open labs for students on approved list
- Wash lab dishes
- Prep lab cultures
- Autoclave materials for teaching labs
- Insect colony care
- Safely dispose of lab waste using autoclave
- Other duties as assigned
