About The Position

The Student Success Facilitator Assistant is responsible for providing assistance to students and their families to remove barriers in school readiness, success, and attendance. This role involves working with at-risk students who are in danger of dropping out of school. The assistant will provide students with information and act as a liaison to appropriate learning activities and experiences in academics to help fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Additionally, the assistant will assist campus administration with home visits and implement programs to keep students in school until they graduate or become productive working citizens.

Requirements

• High School graduate (transcripts) or GED.
• ESSA Criteria (2 years' of study at an institution of higher education; an Associate degree or higher; or, can pass a formal paraprofessional assessment).
• Experience working with children.
