About The Position
The Student Success Coach is full-time, staff position located on the OCH and LLP campuses, as well as the Tyson Family Center, in South Piedmont's service areas of Anson and Union Counties. The Student Success Coach will primarily work Monday through Friday, with expectations to work on a Saturday twice a month and adjust weekly schedule as needed. Under the direction of the Director of Academic Advising, the Student Success Coach works within the College's Student Success area to assist with various retention, persistence, and completion initiatives. The Student Success Coach will advise various student populations with program exploration and selection; guide students on course selection and registration; create individualized student graduation plans; and monitor students' progress towards the fulfillment of academic goals and requirements.
