About The Position
The Student Success Advisor (SSA) at Ross Education Holdings Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting hybrid students to ensure their success throughout their educational journey. Reporting to the Student Success Director (SSD) and collaborating with the Vice President of Online Operations at Ross College, Sylvania, the SSA is tasked with meeting the diverse needs of students enrolled in hybrid programs. This position requires adherence to compliance requirements and meticulous documentation to align with ABHES, Federal, State, and internal standards. The SSA's success hinges on effective collaboration with campus staff and corporate personnel to foster a positive environment conducive to student achievement. In this role, the SSA is responsible for student retention, which includes understanding retention metrics and leading initiatives aimed at keeping students engaged and enrolled. This involves reaching out to absent students through various communication methods, identifying high-risk students, and developing tailored plans to provide them with the necessary academic support. The SSA will also facilitate both on-ground and virtual orientations, assisting students with basic technical support related to the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Additionally, the SSA provides essential financial aid support by guiding students through the registration process, assisting with document collection, and acting as a liaison for financial aid inquiries. The role also encompasses career services support, where the SSA collaborates with the Career Services team to prepare students for externships and assists in the collection of necessary documentation for graduates. The SSA is expected to maintain a minimum retention rate of 70% for each program and ensure that documentation packaging status remains at 95% or above. Overall, the SSA is a vital link between students and the resources they need to succeed at Ross Education Holdings Inc.
