About The Position

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in higher education student services.
  • Experience and strong competencies in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work assigned schedule which may include variations during peak enrollment periods.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of professional experience within a college or career development setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of issues pertaining to higher education and career development.
  • Proficient in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and provide quality customer service to all visitors and students.
  • Assist new and continuing students with all student services processes and career exploration.
  • Meet and correspond with prospective and current students to facilitate student services and career development processes.
  • Assist the Office of Admissions and Career Center to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to student.
  • Assist with events and programs with the Office of Admissions and Career Center.
  • Utilize College Platforms to perform and track activities.
  • Provide resolutions to academic and administrative problems and provide analytical reports.
  • Communicate Workforce Development Center program options to students.
  • Contribute to the development and updates of the Welcome Center Knowledge Bank.
  • Support ongoing process improvement for optimal customer/student experience.
  • Assist with directing and utilizing student employee/Ambassadors.
