About The Position
The Student Services Specialist Senior in the Financial Aid Department will perform the more technically demanding financial aid duties, including determining award amounts, and posting awards in various programs. This position, under minimal supervision, also oversees loan and Pell reconciliation, private/PLUS loan awarding, review of unusual circumstance requests, ISIR suspense reports, needs analysis forms, as well as counsels students and parents on the more technical questions related to financial aid eligibility, such as financial aid methodology, disbursement of aid, cost of attendance, aid eligibility requirements and financial literacy.
