About The Position
Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus 1701 S Creasy Ln Lafayette, Indiana 47905 The Student Respiratory position provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational services for adult patients to the extent that their Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care allows. This is a developmental position, intended for incumbents to gain the expertise and skills to successfully complete education requirements. Requirements
- Enrolled in program
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required within 90 days of hire
- Student Permit to Practice Respiratory Care - State Licensing Board
Responsibilities
- Schedule procedures.
- Inform supervisor of problems as they arise.
- Communicate and interact with physicians.
- Follow hospital infection control and isolation procedures.
