About The Position
The Student Respiratory Therapist performs all non-invasive respiratory care procedures under immediate supervision until competency is demonstrated. The role may involve performing invasive and critical care procedures, such as ventilator management, non-invasive ventilator care, and code 99 procedures. The therapist is expected to perform respiratory care procedures with an understanding of age-specific cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation as related to specific care standards.
