Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Care registry program
• Candidate must have a current limited permit to practice respiratory care issued by Ohio.
• Must demonstrate skills in all Patient Care Areas of the Hospital.
• Must demonstrate knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary disease states.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and competency of modalities as verified by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
• Current BLS for respective work area
• Works under the supervision of a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to delivery care to the respiratory patient.

Nice To Haves

• Active AARC member preferred

Responsibilities

• To perform on a daily basis various respiratory care procedures for acute care for all age groups under indirect supervision of a licensed respiratory care professional.
