The Department of Orthopaedics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for its Orthopaedic Research Fellowship for the 2026-2027 academic year. Ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, bright medical students interested in a full-time, paid research fellowship at the main Ohio State University campus in Columbus, OH, are welcome to apply. This fellowship opportunity is directed by Vice Chair of Education Dr. Kanu Goyal, MD, and Vice Chair of Research Dr. Nathaniel Bates, PhD. The successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to engage in clinical and laboratory-based research across multiple divisions within the Department of Orthopaedics. Through this diversity of projects, fellows will be extended ample opportunities for publication in peer-reviewed medical journals. It is anticipated that the fellow should generate 10+ peer-reviewed publications by the end of the research year. In addition, abstract submission and presentation at national conference will be encouraged. This will be a funded position with a monthly stipend. This will be a 1-year fellowship experience beginning prior to 07/01/2026 and extending through June 2027.
