Student Research Assistant - College of Law
About The Position
Chaired professor in the College of Law is seeking a research assistant to work 20 hours a week on three projects starting as soon as possible (1) the GHG Shopper is a phone app that enables grocery shoppers to take the grocery seller’s greenhouse gas emissions into account, https://www.ghgshopper.org , (2) the Stakeholder Takeover Project is a website that tracks the GHG emissions of big companies and will also display reports from the GHG Shopper, https://www.stakeholdertakeover.org/rankings_2020.html , and (3) the Bankruptcy Research Database is a research project that will track bankruptcy court competition for large public company cases, https://lopucki.law.ufl.edu/index.php . Hours are flexible and the work can be almost entirely remote.
Requirements
- The projects require a foundation in HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- A solid knowledge of Angular/Ionic and PHP (8.x)
- A basic knowledge of Git, SQL (MySQL), SSH and FTP
