About The Position

The University of Florida (UF) Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) Research Program in The Villages seeks an enthusiastic and qualified individual to fill the Student Research Assistant position. This position will work with faculty and the Center's research team in translational and implementation science and in contributing to research projects aimed at improving health care quality, outcomes and well-being for older adults. The research assistant will collaborate with internal and external research partners, clinical providers and other community stakeholders. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and high motivation to deliver quality work products are a must. Under the supervision of the research manager(s), the Research Assistance supports research activities for ongoing and newly initiated clinical trial studies in the UF Health Precision Heath Research Center. The student Research Assistant will be responsible for communicating with research participants, collecting survey data, and data entry. Will be responsible for meeting deadlines, paying attention to detail, and protocol requirements. Must understand and comply with the regulatory policies and procedures regarding human subject research: governmental, state, and as required by the University of Florida.
