The State College Area School District is searching for a Student Registration Secretary at Panorama Village Administrative Center. The position works closely with families, building secretaries, and counselors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing administrative support to the Registration Office, including greeting visitors and providing high quality customer service; overseeing the registering of all incoming K-12 students in the district; coordination of appropriate communications; knowledge of Board policies and state regulations related to Student Registration; and management of difficult situations with skill, patience, and diplomacy. The ideal individual will be detail oriented, have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations; demonstrate a commitment to diversity; demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, friendly customer service, administrative, and organizational skills; and have the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently on projects and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Must be able to work independently, as well as within a team.
