About The Position

Monitors the operations of the Center’s Records department. Ensures communication with recruiter and DOL to maintain contractual requirements of on-board strength. Ensure the accuracy of student data into the center’s Data 5 system and the CIS system daily. Assign new students and schedule travel through Oasis System. Administers student records in accordance with PRH. Compile weekly termination reports and data for the center operations reports. Coordinate the collection of all student records upon termination including sealed confidential records. Oversee the transportation for all types of leave, transfers, and termination. Reconciles OMS Data to assure Data Five and SPAMIS are correct. Responds to student and staff inquiries concerning student pay and allowance routinely and timely. Records are maintained in sequential order. Records reflect quality by maintaining all information in a systematic format for easy review and audit. Publishes the student morning/status report daily. Maintains accurate tracking and accountability of student clothing allowances. Schedules transportation for student winter break. Maintains accountability and control of bus tickets and other student transportation. Assesses personnel needs and works with the Human Resources department to screen and interview potential staff. Recommends promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department. Conducts and prepares performance appraisals. Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills. Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property. Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility. Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of related experience.
  • One to two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working with youth.
  • A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
