Assists in collecting and analyzing statistics, doing research, and making investigations and special studies in a variety of occupational fields. Assists in the preparation of reports. Assists in the preparation of press and radio releases. Assists in the administration of psychological and other tests to patients. Assists in the performance of laboratory tests and analysis. Assists in the group supervision and training of juvenile wards of the courts. Assists in identifying and cataloging birds, mammals, and fossils. Assists in processing writs and judgments, filing legal documents, and making entries of legal action. Assists in work related to the administration of manpower programs for the disadvantaged. Acts as guide for student tours of County departments. Does related clerical work as required.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college having academic standing equivalent to sophomore, junior or senior year.
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
  • Successful candidates must need to provide the following two (2) documents during the hiring process: 1. Proof of Academic Standing regarding academic level or class level (should have successfully completed 30-semester units or 45 quarters units or Sophomore, Junior, Senior in accredited college): Acceptable proof includes a copy of official or unofficial transcripts or a verification letter from the current school administration office which reflects academic standing (academic class level). 2. Proof of Current Enrollment: Acceptable proof includes a current Class Schedule confirming the applicant has registered for the current or upcoming semester/quarter, a letter from the School Administration on school letterhead showing the current enrollment status; a student ID with a photograph verifying current enrollment (must show current class term) or a copy of transcripts
  • If hired, you still need to continue to be enrolled and attend school to maintain status in the position.
