About The Position

Under the direction of a charge nurse, the Patient Care Technician II assists the nursing staff in provision of basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent
1 year experience in related field
Completion of a Phlebotomy Course

Responsibilities

Responds to any patient call lights
Gives status report of patient to appropriate personnel
Performs documentation duties on unit, which is timely, comprehensive, and concise, in order to provide accurate information
Assists with personal hygiene
Assists with activities of daily living and mobility
Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
Perform other duties as required
