About The Position
The Student Pastor at First Baptist Church Borger, Texas, is a full-time, exempt position that plays a crucial role in the church's ministerial staff. This position requires a commitment of 40-60 hours per week and is responsible for overseeing the student ministry, which includes managing support staff and key volunteers. The Student Pastor is expected to embody the biblical qualifications outlined in Titus 2 and I Timothy 3, ensuring that their life and ministry reflect the teachings of the Bible. In addition to the biblical qualifications, the Student Pastor is expected to uphold the church's core values, which include serving the community, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, connecting individuals in their faith journeys, equipping members for personal growth in their relationship with God, and multiplying disciples through the establishment of new life groups and church plants. The Student Pastor will work closely with the Lead Pastor and the Elders to ensure that the church's teaching ministry is effectively communicated and that biblical doctrines and theology are upheld across all ministry areas. This role is not just about leading the student ministry but also about being a vital part of the church's mission to serve and connect with the community. The Student Pastor will actively engage with church members and the broader community to foster a culture of discipleship and spiritual growth, ensuring that the church's mission is lived out in practical ways.
