About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are currently recruiting for the Future Insurance Professionals Internship for the 2026 summer program. This internship is a joint program between The Cincinnati Insurance Companies and our independent agencies. During this program, we will provide three weeks of on-the-job training and classes. Interns receive high-level overviews of personal and commercial insurance and spend time on underwriting teams to observe how accounts are underwritten. You will have the opportunity to travel with Cincinnati Sales, Claims and Loss Control representatives. Interns will experience valuable lessons and gain relationship knowledge between agents and carriers through interactions. 3 Week Program is set for May 18th- June 5th.

Requirements

• Referred or sponsored by an agency that represents The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.
• Enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited institution; transcripts will be requested as proof.
• Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing in Fall 2025.
• All majors welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participate in three weeks of on-the-job training and classes.
• Gain high-level overviews of personal and commercial insurance.
• Observe underwriting teams to understand account underwriting.
• Travel with Cincinnati Sales, Claims, and Loss Control representatives.
• Build relationships and gain knowledge through interactions with agents and carriers.
