About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are currently seeking an undergraduate intern for our Facilities (Engineering) Internship. Our successful candidates will want to gain a meaningful work experience with us for Summer 2026. This role is onsite and based out of our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio. Requirements

  • Enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student at an accredited college/university (sophomore or above preferred)
  • Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related major
  • Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable)
  • In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred)
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office tools and related software

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management, Leadership (preferred)
  • Basic accounting/finance knowledge (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings; ability to plan, coordinate and communicate amongst team
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical audience and give professional presentations
  • Ability to interact effectively with management and colleagues to prioritize and organize work
  • Willingness to continually learn new technologies, skills, and improved processes
  • Work independently and within a team environment
  • Assist with business activities and processes
  • Participate and contribute to team meetings, presentations, and projects
  • Generate reports, promotional/educational materials, and other work products

Benefits

  • Starting Pay: Begins at $18 per hour and is based on the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
