About The Position
Trinity Basin Preparatory (TBP) is excited to partner with Dallas College education students who are seeking to complete their required classroom observation hours . This opportunity allows future educators to gain hands-on experience in a real school setting while observing highly effective teachers and campus leaders. Students will be placed on a campus based on availability, area of study, and district needs. This posting is used to collect and filter candidates through PowerSchool for placement and tracking purposes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at Dallas College, UT Arlington or Tarrant County College .
- Seeking observation or field experience hours for an education program.
- Interest in teaching, counseling, administration, or related education fields.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation to assigned campus.
Responsibilities
- Observe classroom instruction and campus operations.
- Follow all district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain professionalism while on campus.
- Communicate with assigned campus mentor/teacher.
- Complete required documentation for college coursework.
