One California Job Summary and Responsibilities A Student Nurse assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill neonate through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Requirements

  • Current California Nursing Assistant Certification or enrolled in the Psych Tech Program or enrolled in current Nursing program; or Nursing enrollment track with successful completion of TEAS score greater than 62 and completion of at least 4 nursing prerequisites, must submit college transcripts & TEAS score if on the Nursing enrollment track.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
