NA IIs work under the direction of an RN to provide safe, efficient, age-specific care to patients and families to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and/or sustain optimal health status. Responsibilities include: Direct patient care delivery, including, but not limited to: ADLs/hygiene, Vital signs, I&O, Bladder scanning, EKG, Glucometer & other point of care testing (where applicable) and Restraints Communication and documentation of interventions and observations Participation in quality improvement process Involved in learning and self-improvement Initiates and maintains a positive relationship with patients/customers and coworkers - why UH Why choose UH as a Student Nurse?
