Requirements
- Current enrollment and in good standing in a full time Nursing Program such as an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program or RN Associate Degree program or LPN to RN nursing program.
- Active state registry as a Nurse Aide (CNA) or LPN license required.
- BLS or BLS instructor certification required upon hire.
- Refer to policy “Licensed, Certified, and Registered Employees” for acceptable life support cards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient personal care and hygiene (e.g., bathing, feeding, mobility)
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stocked patient environment
