Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• One semester of Nursing Fundamentals and one semester of Nursing Clinical for a total of 2 Clinical Semesters.
• Certification as a CNA on file with the State of Maryland.
• BLS CPR

Responsibilities

• The Student Nurse Tech participates as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of quality patient care.
• Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Student Nurse Tech performs selected delegated patient care procedures.
• Observes patient condition and reports and records information.
• Assists health care team with specific treatments and/or procedures in an acute or intermediate care facility.
