About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse (SNAP) for our TCU 6C Neuroscience Telemetry Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living. Provides for personal care & comfort. Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
- Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2.75 GPA
- Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
