This job would be perfect for a: Nursing Student currently enrolled in a BSN or ADN program and has completed at least 1 nursing clinical Come join our team! The Student Nurse Intern for the Float Pool will perform a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. Provides assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. Performs cleaning functions in patient care units as delegated and performs selected diagnostic tests. The Student Nurse Intern's experiences will prepare the student for their impending new role as a graduate nurse.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school
- Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (with verification of enrollment and status)
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN.
- Provide assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting.
- Perform cleaning functions in patient care units as delegated
- Perform selected diagnostic tests.
