About The Position

Under direct supervision of a registered nurse, the Student Nurse participates in the nursing process in delivering care to patients and their families. The Student Nurse will provide a wide variety of clinical task/procedures for the patient as a member of the patient care team. Patients served include the infant through the elderly adult.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently enrolled in good academic standing in an accredited pre-licensure MSN, BSN or ADN program.
• Passing grade ('C' or better) in Fundamentals/Foundations of Nursing (transcript required).
• Current BLS card (AHA or American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate strongly preferred for the Emergency Department.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the nursing process in delivering care to patients and their families.
• Provide a wide variety of clinical tasks and procedures for patients.
• Work as a member of the patient care team.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $17/hr
