The Student Monitor position is responsible for monitoring student behavior and ensuring compliance with school rules and procedures in various settings, including the cafeteria, playground, hallways, and other common areas. The role involves providing supervision for students who arrive early or stay late due to transportation logistics, supporting the implementation of the school safety plan, assisting with safety drills, and maintaining order and discipline in classrooms and group settings. The Student Monitor will also implement prepared lesson plans when the regular teacher is unavailable and address minor student conflicts while reporting serious incidents to administration. This position requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of student information and modeling appropriate behavior.
