Student Marketing Ambassador

It's about people, planet, and passion. We’re currently hiring for Student Marketing Ambassadors to join the team! Are you a people person who loves getting involved on campus and connecting with others? Join our team as a Student Marketing Ambassador! In this role, you’ll bring our student housing community to life by promoting our property through on-campus and local outreach. From handing out fliers to hosting fun events, you’ll help spread the word, drive traffic, and create buzz that gets students excited to live at Yugo. This role will be seasonal depending on needs of the business.
Requirements
- Must be a current college student enrolled at University of Minnesota
- Outgoing personality with strong communication and networking skills
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Comfortable approaching students, distributing materials, and starting conversations
- Flexible schedule with availability for part-time hours (typically 5–20 per week) , including evenings and weekends during events
Nice To Haves
- Prior marketing, event, or student ambassador experience is a plus (but not required)
Responsibilities
- Represent the Yugo property and brand on campus and in the community through marketing events, tabling, and outreach activities
- Distribute promotional materials (fliers, swag, etc.) and drive leasing interest by engaging students face-to-face
- Participate in and help organize fun marketing events to attract prospective residents
- Collaborate with the leasing team on campaign ideas, contests, and social media promotions
- Capture photos and short videos of events and outreach activities for social and marketing use
- Track outreach efforts and report feedback on what’s working best
- Uphold a positive and energetic image that reflects the community’s vibe
