About The Position
The Student Loans Office is searching for a Student Loans Specialist. Under direct supervision, the primary responsibilities are the account maintenance of Federal Loan Programs (Perkins, LDS, HPSL, PCL, Nursing, and NFLP), Institutional Loan programs, and outstanding tuition account receivables which includes exit paperwork, loan benefits, and revenue collection until paid in full for portion of the alphabet P-Z. Understanding and following federal and institutional guidelines for processing benefits and collection revenue on all loan funds for portion of the alphabet P-Z. Working with the Bursar's Office and Financial Aid to ensure proper holds are put on accounts and communication is open to the students. Answer main telephone line as first contact for incoming calls.
