Under the direct supervision of the Access Services & Circulation Manager, the Student Library Assistant attends to area users including students, faculty, and staff members wishing to make use of the Library resources. Main responsibilities include helping patrons locating library items, placing item holds, and requesting new items. They check materials in and out, monitor Library usage, and organize materials. The Student Library Assistant performs many support activities involved in operating the Berklee library by assisting students, faculty and staff following established rules and procedures and policies. Student Library Assistants may work on special projects.
