In this role, the Student Liaison will work directly with the Education Manager and collaborate with other Student Liaisons to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed effectively. This includes assisting with special administrative projects such as proofreading documents, creating and updating class rosters, and maintaining email lists. The Student Liaison will also assist in coordinating volunteers and preparing for special events, contributing to the overall community engagement of the Pottery School. The position requires the Student Liaison to perform general reception duties, which encompass maintaining a clean and professional reception area, responding to inquiries via phone and email, selling tools, assigning lockers, and addressing student inquiries. Additionally, the Student Liaison will be responsible for understanding, communicating, and enforcing studio policies and procedures, ensuring that all students are aware of the guidelines that govern their participation in the program. The role also includes maintaining the library, managing payment plans, measuring student work, and collecting firing fees, as well as registering students for various programs including classes, lectures, and workshops. The Student Liaison will open and close the building daily and attend all required meetings, ensuring that they are fully engaged with the operations of the Pottery School.
