About The Position
Provide comprehensive services for children in a center-based setting. Assist in the preparation and delivery of instructional materials. Observe and apply various teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs. Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment. Maintain stable/supportive relationships with the children, their families, and co-workers Assist in office as assigned Manage classroom materials Manage classroom according ECERS and CLASS assessment tools guidelines. Work closely with DOE Educational Consultant to implement consultant’s suggestions
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
- Completion of required coursework prior to student teaching placement.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Passion for education and working with students.
- Ability to receive and apply feedback constructively.
