Your Role As a Summer IT Intern in Gensler's New York office, you will join our creative studio environment for a full-time, paid internship opportunity. This is a full-time program running from June 2 through August 7 , 2026. You must be available for the entire duration of the program.

Requirements

  • You have completed your 2nd year of undergrad working towards a Bachelor’s degree in the Information Technology or related field
  • Proven troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to disconnect, lift and move PC's and Monitors (50 lbs) to new workstations
  • Knowledge of basic desktop troubleshooting, including Windows and Mac OS

Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of our help desk team and provide general technology support for end-users
  • Troubleshoot and support our workstations, laptops, printers, plotters, video conferencing units and other peripherals
  • Maintain and support administrative, graphics and CAD applications in mixed Windows and Macintosh environments
  • Perform workstation and telephone additions/moves/changes
  • Support documentation, system backup and recovery and application upgrades
