About The Position
The Davey Tree Expert Company is offering a Spring - Summer 2025 Arborist Trainee Internship in North Denver, Colorado. This internship is designed for exceptional students who are eager to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of tree care, plant health care, sales, and client services. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about tree care practices, including tree climbing, chainsaw operation, and customer service, while being mentored by experienced professionals in the field. The internship will involve working on both residential and commercial properties, as well as in an office setting, providing a well-rounded experience in the arboriculture industry. Interns will be expected to work 40-50 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. The internship will vary in length depending on availability, and interns will be assigned a manager who will guide them through various job experiences. This position is ideal for students studying Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Forestry, or related disciplines. A valid driver's license is required, and a commercial driver's license is highly valued. The starting hourly wage for this position is $22.00.
