About The Position

The Student Resident is a member of the Neurosciences Administration team that provides support for the business functions of the clinical operations in the Neurosciences Department. Under direct supervision, the Student Resident will gain professional work experience by providing leadership and/or coordination of various programs and project in their field of study. They will provide administrative support for the daily operations of the OSUWMC Neurosciences Service Line. They will manage business functions related to the Neurosciences Strategic Plans, ambulatory and hospital operations and other administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in MHA program at OSU
• has completed 2 semesters of course work
• some field experience
• skilled in critical thinking
• skilled in data analysis
• strong interpersonal skills
• Must be sensitive to confidentiality and maintain professionalism

Responsibilities

• provide leadership and/or coordination of various programs and project in their field of study
• provide administrative support for the daily operations of the OSUWMC Neurosciences Service Line
• manage business functions related to the Neurosciences Strategic Plans, ambulatory and hospital operations and other administrative tasks
