Depending in the intern assignment, tasks can vary from laboratory and research assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Prior experience in an office and/or research/laboratory setting 0-1 year preferred
- MS Office proficiency as well as the ability to learn how to use new software as needed.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills, with research staff, children, and subject families.
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot.
- An ability to work independently to schedule, plan, and complete subject visits.
Responsibilities
- Assists with in-person data collection.
- Assists with research experiences.
- Prepares for study visits including organizing paperwork, setting up equipment, and preparing study materials.
- Assists with subject scheduling.
- Assists with other research-related office tasks as needed.
- Processes collected data.
