About The Position

A Student Intern is a member of our non-licensed architectural, interior design, landscape + planning, or structural studio staff in the process of obtaining a degree in their field and is responsible for assisting the design team.

Requirements

• In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in their field
• Basic knowledge of and experience with Revit
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively engages in project work with responsibilities as assigned
• Prepares scaled drawings and contract documents using primarily Revit
• Researches and identifies products (finishes, fixtures, etc.)
• Researches codes and other standards as necessary for compliance
• Assists in the preparation of studies and reports
• Creates diagrams/layouts during schematic design and demonstrates ability to arrange a unified design
• Joins team members for onsite observation of work during CA to monitor compliance with plans
• Assists in proper organization of project files
• Provides general drafting and visualization support
• Identifies and communicates out progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities
