About The Position

Stanley Consultants is currently seeking a Transmission Student Intern for our Jackson, MI or Muscatine, IA office. As a student intern, you will support project teams, marketing, business development, and technical support. Your responsibilities will include the development of transmission line design parameters, technical design and project review, and the development of transmission standards and specifications. You will also prepare studies and reports, assist in the collection and analysis of data from reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects, and assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, materials lists, permits, and designs for projects. Additionally, you will assist designers/technicians to reduce designs to working drawings and use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States legally for any length of time.
