JOB SUMMARY Works under general supervision to perform professional-level work related to degree that has been completed. To assist, receive training, and acquire working knowledge of each department's areas of responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Must be enrolled full-time in college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or better, graduate status

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with animal breeding and phenotyping, maternal deprivation and environmental enrichment experiments, experiments testing social memory, fear conditioning and locomotor testing, and analyzing spine size and morphology in critical experiments
  • Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge of Administrative Offices, such as Office of Internal Audit, to include work in accounting and business affairs; Office of the President, to include work in revenue & expenditures; Office of Institutional Compliance, to include work accounting for research and development costs.
  • Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge of Administrative Offices, such as Office of External Relations, to include such areas as guest services and special events; Office of Public Affairs, to include working in areas such as News and Publications and/or Marketing.
  • Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge of Administrative Offices, such as Office of Development and Alumni Affairs, to include such areas as annual, major, and planned giving and alumni solicitation programs.
  • Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge of Administrative Offices, such as Office of Community and Corporate Relations, to include working to further mission of university through proper communications with community and corporate organizations.
  • Assists, receives training, and acquires working knowledge of Administrative Offices, such as other academic or administrative offices as determined to be appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
