About The Position

The Forest Science Laboratory student intern will work under the direction of the Urban Tree Improvement Program Specialist to complete tasks in our production operations including weeding, watering and fertilizing growing stock and cleaning and sowing seed.

Requirements

• At the time of the application, must be enrolled at an accredited college/university with at least 30 hours toward a bachelor's degree in Forestry, Range Science, Natural Resource Management or closely related field.
• Plant nursery work
• MS Office.
• Plant care.
• Oral and written communication and organization skills.
• Multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver's license or ability to acquire on within 30 days of hire.
