The goal of our internship program is designed to combine the theoretical training and practical experience to ensure that students obtain meaningful work experience. Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated and a good team player. Accordingly, you must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills. Successful students can build upon their existing skills and explore valuable careers in Legal. Key Roles & Responsibilities: The position will focus on two areas of practice: 1) general transactional law, contract review, and litigation matters; and 2) administrative law, with a focus on state energy regulatory matters. The ideal candidate for this position should have an interest in energy law generally, transactional law, administrative law, contracts, and business matters specifically. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, flexible, a quick learner, highly motivated, able to accept assignments from multiple sources, and a good team player. Accordingly, candidates must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills. Lastly, candidates must be detail oriented All students must be available to work the following schedule: Summer: 20 - 40 hours per week Completed first-year or second-year law studies at an accredited U.S. law school (by the time the internship begins).
