About The Position
Ramsey County is committed to fostering transparent communication and promoting engagement between government and the public. Our team plays a pivotal role in keeping residents informed about services, programs, initiatives, and upcoming events. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic intern to support our communications efforts and contribute to various projects that impact our communities. The internship will provide opportunities to gain work experience in the areas of strategic communications, visual design, social media, public relations and organizational/internal communications. The intern will assist the communications team with research, content creation, social media management, and public relations tasks. This internship provides valuable exposure to the workings of public sector communication and is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing careers in government, public relations, journalism, or communications.
