About The Position

The Carter Lab is seeking a student intern to contribute to our ongoing studies of aging and Alzheimer's disease. This position would engage the candidate in cutting-edge genetics research to understand how genetic factors influence the origins of dementia.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Familiarity with haplotype and linkage disequilibrium analysis

  • Experience in working with data from non-human primate models

Responsibilities

  • Work with Carter Lab members to analyze whole-genome sequencing data
  • Assemble haplotype structure in a population of non-human primates

Benefits
