As an Accounting Intern at ISO New England, you’ll be part of a team that safeguards the company's assets and ensures financial integrity. From reconciling cash accounts and supporting forecasts to preparing journal entries and assisting with month-end close, you’ll get hands-on experience with real-world accounting operations. This is your chance to sharpen your Excel and accounting skills, work alongside finance professionals, and gain valuable insight into how strong financial management keeps a major organization running.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a four-year accounting program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Strong technical skills in computer software and accounting applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous work experience in a professional setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of all cash accounts and accounts receivable processing
• Data entry and support for quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
• Month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger analysis
• Maintenance of the fixed asset system
• Accounts payable processing, including check runs and handling inquiries
