About The Position

The Student Information Systems Coordinator supports data collection, quality, systems implementation, and maintenance and supports reporting on school culture and academic data and non-academic data for the region. This role reports to the Managing Director of Data and Information Technology.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant and aligned experience (required)

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain data systems to ensure access and resolve issues
  • Ensure schools are implementing data systems with fidelity and accuracy
  • Produce internal and external data reports accurately and on-time
  • Maintain strong data privacy compliance
  • Conduct routine audits of core data systems
  • Implement a self-sufficient data inputting and reporting model
  • Maintain knowledge of Infinite Campus, Clever, Illuminate, and other data systems
  • Manage planning and implementation of school-based data systems
  • Forecast schools’ system license and support needs
  • Organize reporting for external organizations
  • Plan and manage data quality control processes
  • Support schools in reporting for report cards and progress reports
  • Understand and implement data privacy laws and policies
  • Employ professional learning and coaching best practices
  • Analyze culture and non-academic data for schools
  • Oversee Identity Access Management for Infinite Campus and core systems
  • Train district personnel on the use of Infinite Campus systems
  • Maintain documentation of security infrastructure related to Infinite Campus
  • Assist with testing and verification of SIS vendor software updates
  • Troubleshoot reported system issues and provide user support
