About The Position
Provide basic first aid to all attendees at eight outdoor Commencement ceremonies
Requirements
- Must be capable of handling: emergency action planning
- CPR
- choking, hemorrhaging, and shock
- emergency transport
- open wounds
- universal precautions
- environmental injury/illness
- anaphylaxis and asthma attacks
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency medical aid during special events
- Treat and triage medical injuries and illnesses
- Communicate with Public Safety via radio
- Report patient assessment to higher level of care Orange Fire Department
- Attend monthly training meetings
